"Traveling by train" booklet, 1970s.

Multicolor printed paper booklet with car diagrams and drawings of car interiors. Dates to the early 1970s; from the Ann Owens Collection. This booklet describes the various accommodations and public spaces found on Amtrak long- and short-distance trains. Amtrak inherited its rolling stock from the predecessor railroads when it took over most passenger rail service in 1971.
